You can use your Studycat account on more than one device, so your child can keep learning anywhere.
There are two simple ways to link a new device.
Option 1: Sign in with your existing account
Use this option if you remember how you originally signed in. Follow the steps below:
- Install the Studycat app on the new device
- Open the app and select "I already have an account."
- Choose "Use my existing account."
- Choose the same sign-in method you used before
Important note:
If you originally signed in using Google, Apple, or email, you must use the same method again. Using a different method will create a separate account.
Option 2: Scan a QR code with a signed-in device
Use this option if you are already signed in on another device and want a faster way to link a new one. Follow the steps below:
- On the new device, open the app and select "I already have an account."
- Choose "Scan a QR code with a signed-in device."
- A QR code will appear on the screen.
- On the device that is already signed in to Studycat, scan the QR code using your device camera.
- If the QR code expires, tap Regenerate code and try again.
Common questions
What if I do not remember how I signed in before?
Use the QR code option. This avoids guessing and helps prevent creating a new account.
Can I still add a device from Settings?
Yes. The existing Settings > Add a device option is still available.
